RecentX is one of the best application and file launchers I have ever used. The program remembers recently used files or applications and gives you one click access to all of them.
A tiny slide bar of the program covers very small space on the desktop that shows a menu when a mouse cursor is hovered over it. The program remembers recently used items in four lists named: files, folders, programs and websites. You can also search for a file or application using keywords in these lists. Different types of tags and filters can help you to find items older than weeks or months. You can also search for any image or text file among thousands of files using the filters.

Using the program, you can open any webpage in two seconds and much faster than using your web browser. The program also allows you to set hotkeys to launch the recent files or folders lists if you are a keyboard user and do not like to use your mouse.
